EDMOND, Oklahoma -- Edmond police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a one-car accident that killed an Edmond woman early Sunday morning.

Police said they were called just after 4:30 a.m. to investigate a loud noise in the 100 block of Ridgecrest Road.

A caller said he thought his car had been stolen because it was no longer in his driveway.

When police arrived, they discovered the man's car had been struck and pushed into the front of the neighbor's house.  The car which caused the accident had then struck a tree.

The driver of the car, 20-year-old Christina Lewis, was pronounced dead at the scene.  She was alone at the time of the accident.

It is unknown if weather or alcohol contributed to the accident.
