Road Trip Oklahoma Pulls into Tuttle

In 1902, this town was named after local cattleman and rancher, James H. Tuttle. Tuttle is home to the Braum's Dairy farm, which operates for over 280 Braum's Ice Cream and Dairy Stores throughout five states. The Tiger Safari is also located in the city of Tuttle and houses over 100 exotic and domestic animals.

Oklahoma's Own News 9 is heading out again. On October 14, Road Trip Oklahoma will make its next stop in Tuttle, Oklahoma.

In 1902, this town was named after local cattleman and rancher, James H. Tuttle. Since 1990, the residential growth has increased by 53 percent with most houses averaging at least 2,000 square feet. Tuttle actively supports and takes pride in their education system with nearly ¾ of high school seniors continuing on towards college.

Tuttle is home to the Braum's Dairy farm, which operates for over 280 Braum's Ice Cream and Dairy Stores throughout five states. The Tiger Safari is also located in the city of Tuttle and houses over 100 exotic and domestic animals.

Famous Oklahomans from Tuttle include: former University of Oklahoma quarterback and Heisman winner Jason White, former San Francisco 49er's wide receiver Clyde Conner, and actors Jason and Jeremy London.
