Cleveland County Deputies Make Meth Bust

Cleveland County Sheriff's deputies busted two people and seized more than 30 individually wrapped packages of methamphetamine and more than $3,000 in cash Friday.

NORMAN, Oklahoma -- Cleveland County Sheriff's deputies busted two people and seized more than 30 individually wrapped packages of methamphetamine and more than $3,000 in cash Friday.

Brenda Gale Beeson, 53, and Alan Eugene Lucas, 46, have been booked into the county jail on charges of possessing a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute.  Beeson was also charged with driving without a license.

A deputy stopped Beeson's car about 12:20 a.m. Friday when he noticed the driver's side headlight wasn't working.

Deputies found methamphetamine on Beeson when she was placed under arrest for driving without a license.  Deputies seized more than $3,000 from Lucas.
