EDMOND, Oklahoma -- Firefighters are investigating the cause of a house fire that destroyed a home near Edmond Saturday night.

Firefighters were called to 3201 Billy Court, near Waterloo and Midwest Blvd., about 9 p.m. The first unit on the scene reported the one-story brick home was fully involved.

Neighbors reported that nobody was home at the time of the fire and that they believed them to be at the OU-Texas Tech game.

Water problems in the area required the assistance of units from other fire departments. Firefighters from Wood Crest, Oak Cliff, and Edmond fought the blaze.

No injuries were reported and no estimate of damages was available.
