Elderly Man Killed In Beaver County Car Collision

A one-car collision in Beaver County claimed the life of a 90-year-old man Tuesday afternoon. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

BEAVER COUNTY, Oklahoma – A one-car collision in Beaver County claimed the life of a 90-year-old man Tuesday afternoon. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

This happened at 2:25 p.m. on State Highway 23, about five miles south of Elmwood. According to the OHP accident report, Thomas J. Reeves, of Booker, Texas, was pronounced dead at the scene due to severe head and neck injuries suffered in the wreck.

Troopers said a 2005 Chevy Suburan driven by Reeves was southbound on Highway 23 when it left the roadway to the right. The vehicle then overturned one and three quarter times, coming to rest on its driver's side.

According to the report, Reeves was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision.
