OKLAHOMA CITY -- An Oklahoma City family is asking for help in finding a missing woman. Police say there is no reason to believe foul play is involved in Amber Ferguson's disappearance, but her family thinks otherwise, and they are terrified after hearing what happened to Carina Saunders.

Amber Ferguson's family says she was last seen October 8th when she told her fiance she was going to the grocery store then never came home.

For her family it has been an excruciating two and a half weeks.

"We haven't heard from her. She hasn't called. Her phone is dead. There's no sign of the car," Ferguson's mother, Michelle Holt said.

She says her daughter has disappeared before, but only for a couple of days. And she has had problems in the past with drugs, but this has them fearing the worst.

"I have a feeling something bad has happened to her. She wouldn't keep away from her son for this long. She wouldn't do it. This is going on three weeks,"

Their fears are only compounded by news of what happened to Carina Saunders, whose body was found dismembered and stuffed into a duffle bag.

Oklahoma City police say because of the Saunders case, they are hearing from more families of missing loved ones saying they are very worried.

"Somebody's out there doing this," Holt said. "It's making me real worried, real worried because she's a pretty girl. She's by herself. She's gullible."

And that's why this mother is pleading for anyone who knows anything to come forward.

"I want my Amber home, I just want my Amber home," she said.

Holt says Amber had worked very hard and was also very close to getting her children back from DHS custody.

Anyone with information about Amber's whereabouts is asked to contact the Oklahoma City police.
