OKLAHOMA CITY -- The Occupy OKC protest moved to a new location Saturday.
A small group of protesters gathered Saturday afternoon, north of their original downtown location at Kerr Park, and walked to the steps of the state capitol.
It was part of a nationwide call asking protesters to gather for one day away from the nation's financial districts, and instead, protest at the 50 state capitol buildings.
"There's a very diverse group of folks out here and everyone's come out here, not to focus on the things that divides us, but what united us and that's what brings us together," said Jay Ternary, Occupy OKC protester.
Many used the event Saturday to speak out about what they say is an excessive use of corporate money in government decisions.
