OKLAHOMA CITY -- An "art show with curves" is returning to Oklahoma City November 4 and 5 at the Farmers Market building.

The Girlie Show will host its eighth annual art and design show featuring all female artists and designers. Presentations range from paintings and sculpture to fashion and housewares. The show is described as a cross between a fine art show and craft bazaar – filling a need just in time for the Christmas shopping season.

Artists from across Oklahoma and the nation will make this one of the state's top annual events, according to organizers Erin Merryweather, Marilyn Artus and Dawn Tyler-Harth.

The show is scheduled from 7 to 11 p.m. Friday and from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday. Admission is $15 in advance to Friday night's show and party or $20 at the door. Admission includes food from more than 20 local vendors, music by DJ Kelly Trance and free admission to the show Saturday.

If you just want to come to the show Saturday, tickets are $5 and include performances by live bands.

Tickets can be purchased online or at DNA Galleries in the Plaza District or Blue 7 on North May and Grand.
