OKC Man Steals Police Car From Parking Lot, Arrested

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Oklahoma City police arrest a man for stealing a police car from the Oklahoma City parking lot.

Police said Charles Switch, 26, stole the police car from a parking lot located at S.W. 15th Street and Portland Avenue Saturday night. Switch allegedly took the car and drove through a fence.

According to police, an officer saw the car driving along Portland and noticed an officer was not driving. A small pursuit began. After troopers with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol conducted a tactical vehicular intervention, Switch crashed into a barrier on the bridge along S.W. 59th Street and I-44.

Police arrested Switch for DUI.
