Earthquake Damages 56 Homes, Injures 3 In Lincoln County

Officials said the record-breaking 5.6 magnitude earthquake on Saturday damaged 56 homes and injured three people in Lincoln County.

Officials said the record-breaking 5.6 magnitude earthquake on Saturday damaged 56 homes and injured three people in Lincoln County.

According to officials with the Lincoln County Emergency Management, the damages include chimney collapses, brick walls that have collapsed, buckles in floor tiles, cracks in drywall, and homes that have been moved from block foundations.

Officials said three minor injuries have been reported at this time. They are still receiving reports of damages in the communities.
