OKLAHOMA CITY -- The Tulsa Golden Hurricane is coming off of a 59-17 win over the Marshall Thundering Herd and holds its own ticket to a conference championship. How did TU fare in the game? News On 6 anchor Bobby Lewis breaks down the win over Marshall.

Tulsa racked up nearly 700 yards offensively, including 380 yards rushing and 302 yards through the air in the 42-point win. Quarterback G.J. Kinne passed for more than 300 yards and four scores, while Ja'Terian Douglas rushed for 194 yards in the win. The receiving corps showed out as well, with Bryan Burnham going for 146 on 10 catches and a score, while Clay Sears grabbed two scores in the win.

Defensively, Tulsa gave up 393 yards and just two scores in the win. Marshall finished the game with 228 yards through the air and 165 yards rushing, while gaining just 5.3 yards per play. The Golden Hurricane forced three turnovers and came up with eight tackles for loss.

Kevin Fitzpatrick was perfect on the evening, hitting all of his extra points and his one field goal attempt. Additionally, he averaged 38.5 yards on his four punts, and came up with 61 yards on three returns in the contest.
