Oklahoma City Police arrested two people late Sunday night after a street race ended with a crash near S.W. 27th Street and McKinley.
Police spotted two cars racing just before midnight and ordered them to pull over. One of the cars began to slow down, but the driver lost control. He sped through several yards before crashing and rolling over.
One man heard the crash just outside his home.
"I heard it. It sounded like a motorcycle, actually," said Gabriel Gonzales. "It came by… and then all of a sudden a couple of seconds later… and I hear the car smash. I guess he hit the bottom of his car and skid over here."
The two people inside the car were not hurt. Police arrested both people.
The other car did not stop and the driver got away.
