Bomb Squad Called To Tinker Air Force Base

OKLAHOMA CITY -- The Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office bomb squad has been called to Tinker Air Force Base.

A sheriff department's spokesman said the unit was called following some sort of disturbance at one of the entry points to the base.

A 71-year-old man pulled up to Gate 31 at Midwest Blvd. and S.E. 74th Street.  He reportedly had shotgun shells and chemicals in his car.

Gate 31 is closed until further notice.
