CLINTON, Oklahoma -- A chemical explosion and fire rocked an oilfield services plant in Clinton Wednesday evening.

Clinton Fire Department units were dispatched to B.J. Services at 801 Marshall road.

A dispatcher at the yard said there were no injuries in the accident, but the explosion and fire did destroy the building where chemicals are stored.

Clinton residents near the plant were evacuated.  Residents have been told to stay indoors to avoid any fumes.
