OKLAHOMA CITY -- Two bomb scares in one day keeps authorities busy throughout the metro.
Wednesday afternoon, the Logan County Courthouse was evacuated after receiving threats and Wednesday evening tinker is investigating a bomb scare at the base.
Operations at tinker AFB appeared to be getting back to normal late Wednesday, and the same could be said in Guthrie. But, earlier Wednesday, the two scares combined forced thousands to evacuate.
Sheriffs deputies the FBI searched for a bomb after the Logan County Court Clerks Office received two automated phone calls praising Allah and warning people would burn.
Just more than two hours later Tinker AFB was put on edge when a suspicious car was found with fertilizer, gasoline, and shotgun shells inside not far away from the base's old GM plant a questionable package is found.
Tinker says about 2000 people were evacuated from the building.
Tinker also says the person in question had to have some sort of an ID to get onto the base.
In both scares, authorities say no bombs were found.
Deputies in Logan County are currently trying to pinpoint who was behind the hoax as the Tinker AFB Office of Special Investigations is questioning a man in connection it's incident.
Tinker would not release the name of the man being questioned because it is an ongoing investigation.
