The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation released a photo of one of the weapons stolen in a shooting that left a 73-year-old veteran fighting for his life.

Kenneth Payne was shot, and his weapons were stolen from Toppers gun range in Wagoner County Thanksgiving morning. Payne, who is retired from the U.S. Air Force, was shot several times in the head. He was able to call his family for help on his cell phone.
On Monday, investigators released a photo of one of the rifles stolen in this case. The photo was obtained from Mitchell' s Mausers website, according to officials.
The weapon was a rare Mitchell Black Lightning .22 magnum rifle. Investigators said they believe someone may have seen it recently and can lead them to more information, because the rifle is unique looking.
