The NBA released its Christmas Day lineup of games Friday and the OKC Thunder will open its season hosting the Orlando Magic at 7 p.m. on Dec. 25.
The Christmas Day matchup marks the second year in a row OKC has taken the hardwood for a holiday game as last year they hosted the Denver Nuggets.
The Thunder's game is one of five games featured on the Christmas Day lineup of games. The Boston Celtics get the NBA action going that day taking on the New York Knicks at 11 a.m. and the LA Clippers close out the holiday with the night cap game at 9:30 CST against Golden State.
In the afternoon Miami takes on Dallas while the Chicago Bulls visit the Los Angeles Lakers at 4 p.m.
Single-game tickets for the first half of the season will go on sale Monday, December 12, at 10 a.m. online only at thunder.nba.com. The Christmas Night game will be carried regionally in HD on Fox Sports Oklahoma and nationally on ESPN.
The entire NBA schedule is expected to be released early next week.
