Man Shot, Wounded In Bethany Carjacking
A man was wounded trying to stop five suspects from stealing his car overnight in Bethany. Police have two of the men in custody.Saturday, December 3rd 2011, 9:09 am
Bethany police are searching for three suspects involved in a shooting and attempted carjacking at about 2 a.m. Saturday. Two other men are in custody.
Police say a man was shot in the leg in the 2500 block of North Rockwell after he tried to stop five men from stealing his car.
The suspects got away but were stopped by police at the Grandville Apartments at 8th and MacArthur.
That's when three of the men jumped from the car and ran on foot.
The other two were taken into custody.
