Edmond Police Respond To Unusual Robbery

Edmond police officers respond to a break-in at a local business but soon discovered nothing appeared to be stolen.

EDMOND, Oklahoma – Edmond police officers respond to a break-in at a local business but soon discovered nothing appeared to be stolen.

The break-in occurred at Sally's Beauty Supply located at 2000 W. Danforth Road in Edmond just after midnight on Monday, December 5. Officers responded to the business after an alarm sounded. When they arrived, officers determined the suspect busted out the door of a vacant store, two spaces down from Sally's Beauty Supply.

According to police, the suspect entered the vacant store, busted a hole through the wall and entered another vacant store, then preceded to knock another hole through the wall into Sally's. The suspect then left through the back door of Sally's, sounding the alarm.

An employee arrived and told police nothing seemed to be missing. Police say several areas appeared to be ransacked, but the safe and cash register were untouched.
