The director of the OSBI helps crack a case, but it wasn't a cold-hard crime. This one involved an elderly woman, a lost purse and an honest boy scout.

It was a busy week day for 13-year-old Dalton. He's prepared for a school Christmas concert, for boy scout survival camp and still squeezed in time to be a hero. He found a purse in Walmart parking lot.

But he says Walmart management didn't want to announce the owners name over the PA system. That's when Stan Florence, OSBI's Director went into Walmart to help look for the owner of the purse.

They found the owner and returned the purse. Florence says a boy scout's challenge is to do a good deed daily - something he practices daily along with the violin- in hopes of earning an eagle badge.

Dalton expects to earn that eagle badge in the spring.
