Christmas is getting closer and the shopping days are getting fewer and fewer. This time of the year having 'good' weather days to shop are less likely and it seems the ugly stuff always hits at the most inopportune times!
Looking down the road, there are several weather systems that will target Oklahoma, but no wintry days are showing up between now and Christmas Eve. We saw some rain Wednesday, but we'll dry out by the end of the week. The next system will move in late Sunday and bring rain on Monday. The one more system should be a heavier event. It will move through Wednesday and Thursday of next week.
Each of these systems is about 3 days apart from each other. There will be some seasonably chilly weather in between these events, but nothing extremely cold.
A great way to keep up with the forecast is to add the News9.com weather page as a favorite. Subscribe to our text forecast, or get the News9 weather app if you carry a smart phone! I use the app frequently! Love it!
Regarding shopping, I've heard women say, "It is not the victory of the kill, but the thrill of the hunt". I'm sure many men will disagree and say it is definitely the victory of the kill! That is why I will see the guys out shopping on Christmas Eve! The weather looks okay that day.
Merry Christmas, everyone!
