OKLAHOMA CITY -- The Oklahoma State Cowboys struggled in the first half and couldn't overcome the deficit, dropping their second consecutive game, falling to New Mexico 66-56 in the All-College Classic.
Oklahoma State (6-3) struggled from the floor in the first half, hitting on just eight of their 32 field goal attempts and just three of their 11 three-point attempts. Conversely, New Mexico (7-2) hit on 41 percent of its shots en route to a 36-26 halftime lead.
The Cowboys managed to keep pace with the Lobos in the second half, but were unable to overtake them. Oklahoma State shot 10-of-24 from the floor in the second half and scored 15 from behind the arc, but it wasn't enough.
Turnovers were an issue for the Cowboys, finishing the day with 15 turnovers to New Mexico's nine, while being outscored in the paint 26-14.
Keiton Page finished with a game-high 18 points, including nine from three-point range, while Jean-Paul Olukemi scored 16 coming off of the bench, but they were the only OSU players to score in double-figures.
Kendall Williams led the charge for New Mexico, scoring 16 and grabbing six boards, with Drew Gordon ruling the glass with 20 total rebounds and 13 points.
Oklahoma State will be back in action at 8 p.m. Wednesday against the Alabama Crimson Tide on the road.
