Authorities released new information in the murder of a homeless Edmond man. What appears to be a piece of metal was found in the exhumed body of Dwite Morgan, also known as Bicycle Bob.
On Monday, December 12, Edmond police had Morgan's body exhumed from his grave. Authorities are looking for the broken tip of a knife used in the stabbing death of Morgan.
Oklahoma County District Attorney David Prater said Saturday that the apparent piece of metal was found in the skull.
Morgan was killed in 2009. Conner Mason is charged in the murder and reportedly bragged about the killing, saying the tip of the knife broke off in the attack.
That knife was recently found and sources said the autopsy indicates a piece of that knife could be buried with Bicycle Bob.
Mason is set to go to trial in February.
