Wagoner's Kevin Peterson Commits To The Sooners

NORMAN, Oklahoma – Bob Stoops and the Sooners have received a commitment from Wagoner defensive back Kevin Peterson.

Peterson selected OU over offers from Arizona, Tulsa, Iowa State and Oregon State.

Peterson's commitment comes just one week after Stoops extended an offer to him last Sunday.

He is a 5-foot-10, 170-pound corner and is rated as a 3-star prospect on both Scout and Rivals recruiting sites.

Peterson helped the Wagoner Bulldogs for a state championship this season playing plenty on both sides of the ball.

He is the most recent of 17 OU football commitments for the 2012 class.
