A 24-year-old woman from Tuttle was critically injured in an ATV collision Thursday night.

It happened just after 11 p.m. on County Road 1230, seven miles east of County Street 2960 in Grady County.

Jacqueline Ann Shroll was medi-flighted to OU Medical Center in critical condition with head, trunk internal and trunk external injuries, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

Troopers said David Paul Melin was driving a 1997 Yamaha ATV, eastbound on County Road 1230 when he was struck from behind by another ATV driven by Shroll. Melin, 31, was turning left into a private drive when he was hit.

Melin was not injured in the collision.

Troopers said they did notice an odor of alcohol on both drivers.
