On the heels of playing the Under Armour All-American game, four-star cornerback De'Vante Harris announced Saturday on Twitter that he was de-committing from the University of Oklahoma and re-opening his recruitment.

Harris committed to the Sooners early in the recruiting process in April, but also had offers from Kansas State, Mississippi State, North Texas, Southern Methodist, Stanford, Texas Tech and Virginia. Harris was recruited by Sooners defensive backs coach Willie Martinez, who has been rumored to be a candidate for several defensive coordinator positions.

His defection leaves Oklahoma with just two defensive back recruits in the 2012 class, with three-star Wagoner senior Kevin Peterson in the fold and junior college transfer Kasseim Everett heading to Norman.
