A Tulsa resource for cancer patients is growing. Cancer Treatment Centers of America has announced a $3.1 million, 14,000 square foot expansion project.

"Our expansion efforts are part of our strategic long-term plan to continue offering our patients the services they value," said Karl Berens, assistant vice president of general services at CTCA in Tulsa.

The expansion will add a third surgical room and a minor procedure room to the facility. They will also enlarge two endoscopy and one bronchoscopy suites.

Part of the existing surgery department will be renovated as well.

In December, CTCA completed an expansion of its inpatient pharmacy on the hospital's second floor.
