Search warrants have revealed new details in the investigation into the death of Jaymie Adams, and the name of a man she was in contact with when she went missing.
Court papers filed Tuesday show homicide investigators questioned a man by the name of Joseph Cyr on December 20, 2011; 11 days after the pregnant Blanchard mother of three disappeared.
Cyr said that he had contacted Adams several times by email, and then by cell phone on December 9 in reference to her Craigslist advertisement. Cyr denied ever meeting with Adams on the night of December 9, the night she was last seen.
Adams husband, Justin, told police his wife was involved in online prostitution and had gone to meet three or four men for sex the night she disappeared. He said he later found his wife's van abandoned at a McDonald's in Midwest City.
Adams body was found January 7 on a dirt bike trail at Lake Stanley Draper. It was lying a few hundred yards east of the roadway in the 7200 block of S. Douglas. Detective saw possible signs of trauma on the decomposing body. The State Medical Examiner is still examining Adams and has not yet released a cause of death.
