Police Arrest Suspect In South OKC Homicide

During a traffic stop Wednesday in Oklahoma City, law enforcement officers arrested a suspect wanted for a deadly shooting.

During a traffic stop Wednesday in Oklahoma City, law enforcement officers arrested a suspect wanted for a deadly shooting.

The Oklahoma County Sheriff's Warrant Team pulled over 21-year-old Gerald Jackson. Deputies and the U.S. Marshal's Service then took him into custody and questioned him about the death of 25-year-old Christopher Trevino. Trevino was shot and killed on January 15 inside a home in the 7900 block of S. McKinley.

After questioning Jackson, police arrested him on one count of first-degree murder. He was booked into the Oklahoma County Jail.
