Class At Monroe Elementary To Resume Thursday After Flooding

Classes will resume at Monroe Elementary on Thursday January 26.

The Oklahoma City school was closed on Wednesday after heavy rains flooded parts of the building.

According to the school district, maintenance crews and building leaders spent Wednesday repairing damage and removing water from the building.

Administrators say the environment is safe for students and staff and conducive for learning.
