Driver Killed In Tecumseh Head-On Crash Identified

A head-on collision claimed one life in Pottawatomie County Thursday night.

Police say a truck was traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes of State Highway 9 and hit a car head on just east of State Highway 177.

The driver of the car, 62-year-old Larry Williamson, died at the scene.  The truck driver, 55-year-old Robert McCarty, was transported to the hospital and is listed in stable condition.

Investigators say alcohol may have been involved.
