Neighbors in southwest Oklahoma City called 911 early Monday morning when they noticed smoke coming from an empty house.
Firefighters rushed to the house in the 11000 block of Mackel Drive just after 2 a.m. and discovered flames inside the home. They quickly put out the fire.
Neighbors said the house was on the market and had been empty for a while.
Crews said the fire started somewhere in the attic, but they don't know yet what sparked the flames. An investigator is looking into the cause.
No one was hurt.
