OKLAHOMA CITY – A good start to the year for Oklahoma City keeps getting better.

The RedHawks rattled off their fourth straight victory on Monday night with a 4-2 win against the Nashville Sounds at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.

For OKC, it was all about the fifth inning in Monday night's game.

Nashville led off the game with a lone run and led 1-0 all the way up through the middle of the fifth.

But the RedHawks' Brett Wallace and Brad Snyder managed back-to-back singles and Jimmy Paredes followed it up with an RBI to tie the game.

A wild pitch from the Sounds brought home the second OKC run, and a two-RBI single from Landon Powell quickly gave Oklahoma City a commanding 4-1 lead in the span of just an inning.

The fifth inning would be the only inning of scoring for the RedHawks in the game, but that is all they would need.

Nashville managed to answer with a single run in the sixth but could never cut any further into its deficit.

RedHawks reliever got the win after throwing one scoreless inning. Starter Henry Sosa gave up a single run and four hits in four innings.

Game two of the series with the Sounds starts on Tuesday night at 7:05 p.m. for the RedHawks.
