Police need help identifying a person of interest following the armed robberies of a gas station and check cashing business in Mustang last week.
The first robbery took place just after 9 p.m. on Friday, April 13 at the Gas-N-Go at 357 W. SH 152. The suspect was described as wearing a green hoodie with a Zoo York logo, Big Star jeans and tennis shoes. He was also wearing a blue and white bandanna, sunglasses and gloves.
Then on Saturday around noon the same suspect robbed the Check-N-Go at 214 N Mustang Mall Terrace at gunpoint. The suspect was wearing the same clothing that was worn in the previous robbery.
The victims of the second robbery reported they saw the suspect's hands and identified him as a white male. They said the suspect also fled in a silver hatchback with what they described as a rear spoiler and mirror tinted windows. The weapon in both robberies was a black semi-auto handgun.
The white male listed as a person of interest was in the Check-N-Go the day of the first robbery and was identified by Check-N-Go employees as a possible suspect.
If you have any information about either robbery or if you recognize the person of interest, contact Detective Dennis Craig of the Mustang Police Department at (405) 376-7733.
