Police Release Name Of Homicide Victim Found In Southwest OKC

Oklahoma City police release the identity of a homicide victim found in a parking lot in the southwest part of the city.

Police say Monnie Wayne James, 38, was found shortly before noon on Monday, April 30, in the 900 block of S.W. 27th Street.

When officers arrived, they found James lying in the parking lot with a gunshot wound. James was taken to OU Medical Center where he died a short time later.
