Police Identify Men Shot At NW OKC Apartment Complex

Police have identified the two men shot Thursday at an apartment complex in northwest Oklahoma City.

Police have identified the two men shot Thursday at an apartment complex in northwest Oklahoma City.

The shootings occurred just after 2:30 p.m. at the Heritage Apartments located at 7550 NW 10th St.

The victims, Terrell Johnson and Nathaniel Vaughn, are expected to be ok. They were unable to give police a description of the shooter.

Greenvale Elementary School was put on lockdown for about an hour because of the shooting. Witnesses say the shooter ran near the playground with a gun in his hand as children were outside.

Police are still searching the person responsible for the shootings.

Greenvale Elementary had been put on lockdown before, on April 26, 2011, while police searched for a man possibly armed with a gun.
