Fugitive, Accused Of Child Sex Abuse, Captured In MWC

A fugitive accused of three counts of child sexual abuse was apprehended at an apartment complex in Midwest City Thursday evening.

According to a report by the U.S. Marshal Service, 46-year-old Marcus Ford was wanted for multiple outstanding warrants in Oklahoma County going back to the middle of July 2012.

The U.S. Marshals Metro Fugitive Task Force (MFTF) developed information that Ford was residing at the apartment complex located in Midwest City. As MFTF members approached the apartment, officers observed Ford standing outside of the apartment building.

The MFTF and members of the Midwest City Police department approached Ford and placed him under arrest. Ford was transported to the Oklahoma County Jail and booked in without incident.

Ford has a significant criminal history that includes shooting with intent to kill, trafficking in narcotics, and burglary.
