The town of Paoli is in mourning after a popular volunteer fire chief died in a motorcycle accident.

Donald "Duck" Moore, 39, died early Tuesday.  The OHP says Moore was riding his motorcycle north on I-35 at the Kimberlin Road exit, near Pauls Valley.

Last month, Moore was instrumental in rural Cleveland County's fight to stave off raging wildfires.

"The sign of a great leader is he's always been such a selfless person," said Paul Moore, "Duck's" brother.

Donald Moore leaves behind his wife and 5-year-old daughter.  His funeral is set for 10 a.m. Friday in Paoli.
