Small Earthquake Shakes Up Seminole County

A small earthquake rumbled in Seminole County near the town of Cromwell, Saturday night.

A small earthquake rumbled in Seminole County near the town of Cromwell, Saturday night.

The earthquake was recorded at about 8:58 p.m. Saturday. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake was measured  at 3.4 magnitude on the Richter Scale and was recorded at a depth of about 2 and a half miles deep.

The epicenter was about six mile west northwest of Cromwell and about 55 miles east of Oklahoma City.

There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries related to this earthquake.

Earthquakes with a magnitude of 3.0 and lower generally aren't felt by humans.
