A former announcer with the Oklahoma City Thunder waived his right to a preliminary hearing Friday during a court appearance on charges of lewd acts with a child.

Jim Miller appeared in an Oklahoma County courtroom Friday morning. He's accused of watching pornography and masturbating while an 8-year-old boy watched.

Soon after his arrest in May, Miller was fired from his job with the Thunder. He was also suspended from his job as a speech teacher and tennis coach at Harrah High School.

News 9 tried to speak to Miller as he left court Friday, but he had nothing to say. A trial date has not been set.
