Sooners Drop, Cowboys Shift In New College Football Polls

The Sooners fell 10 spots in each poll, while the Cowboys did a little rising and falling.

The Sooners and Cowboys did some moving around in the latest edition of the college football polls.

OU's home loss to Kansas State dropped the Sooners 10 spots, from six to 16 in the AP poll. Oklahoma State actually fell in the AP poll, despite not playing. The Cowboys weren't ranked, but received 12 votes, essentially coming in at 34th.

In the USA Today Coaches' Poll, the Sooners fell from No. 5 to No. 15, while OSU actually moved up from 25th to No. 22.

Also representing the Big 12 in both polls: Kansas State, Texas, West Virginia, TCU and Baylor.

Oklahoma has a bye week next week, while Oklahoma State hosts Texas at 6:50 p.m.
