I love sports as much as the next Oklahoman, maybe more, but can we stop all of the whining about the replacement referees?
It's a game. It's not science. If you lost money on that game because of that questionable call, lesson learned. You know it's an objective business.. refereeing.. there are penalties that can be called on every play.
But the bottom line is... it's a game.. it doesn't really matter.
Sadly, I'm sure more people know about what's happening in the NFL than what's happening in the Presidential Race or at the United Nations right now, and both of those are FAR more important than what's going on at Lambeau Field.
So New England Coach Bill Belichick grabs a ref in an aggressive manner, hardly even compares to Iran's Mahmoud Ahmadinejad arriving in New York City and vowing once again to eliminate Israel from the face of the earth.
Folks, these are deadly serious times.
It's ridiculous that politicians even the President have critiqued this NFL slapstick routine.
It's time to get our heads OUT of the game, for just a bit, save the outrage for the threats to our allies and our people and interests overseas.
Don't worry the NFL will be fine... it's a game.
