There is a smelly problem on Oklahoma City's northwest side resulting in numerous 911 calls, an arrest warrant and even death threats.

Oklahoma City Police officers are regulars in the 1700 block of NW 30th St. Neighbors say officers have been at that location at least eight times in the past month for serious threats caused by a silly problem.

It all started with complaints over a dog using the bathroom in the neighbor's yard.

"[My neighbors] want to shoot me because their dog cannot crap in my yard," Mike Baxter said.

Susan Hodge and her husband, Shane, have received fines for allowing their dog to unload on Baxter's front lawn. Baxter was even able to take pictures of the dog caught in the act. Susan did not pay her ticket, and a warrant was issued for her arrest. When a News 9 crew paid her a visit last week, she owed more than $400 in fines.

Apparently, those fines and News 9's story caused Susan to go off on her neighbor. Baxter caught her outburst on tape and shared the footage with News 9. He says the couple is now threatening to kill him and has admitted to killing his grass.

Baxter is afraid their dogs could be killed next, which is why they won't let their dogs out of their home.

"We used to be able to take them out in our front yard on leashes but we can't anymore," Baxter said.

A week after her News 9 debut, Susan would not come to the door for round two on Wednesday. Baxter filed a victim's protection order against his neighbors earlier this week. He now monitors his property with video surveillance and always has a phone handy to call police. Baxter says the issues have been going on for the past nine months.
