A lot of people seem to care more about the NFL referee scandal than what's going on in the Middle East, or the UN, or the Presidential campaign. I say we need to get our heads OUT of the game. Here's what you had to say.
Sharon in Guthrie first: "I applaud your directness. It is just a game and people need to wake up..!"
John from Mustang disagrees: "Distractions like football are good for our national mental health!"
Tom from Edmond points out: "We should focus for sure on the many issues facing our country, but I think the NFL must work to get the replacement refs off the field now before someone more seriously hurt."
Michael in Stroud: "I think that, if you recognize the financial impact that the sports world has on the US economy, you have to agree that it is a significant factor."
Chris from Norman: "To some people it's just a game. But to the players it's a job, it's one step closer to a Super Bowl or record breaking stats."
Stacie writes: "We as a nation need to pay a little less attention to what is going on in Hollywood or sporting events and more attention to the terrible and scary direction our country is heading. You are a breath of fresh air."
Finally, Dale from Yukon writes: "Thanks for the insult, and calling sports fans ignorant. You, are the ignorant one."
I'm Kelly Ogle and that's YOUR 2 Cents.
