One person is dead after a shooting in the parking lot of an Oklahoma City grocery store, Friday afternoon.
Police responded to the call around 4:30 p.m. in the area of 138th and Penn. The shooting took place in the parking lot of the Target store across the street from Quail Springs Mall.
According to police the incident started as a domestic issue. Police say the victim is a male, and they have another male in custody.
One man pulled a knife, the other man pulled a gun, and shot the man with the knife dead, police say.
Yvonne Charbonneau was one of many who walked over to look at the dead body laying face down on the pavement.
"I had to come to see it for myself. It makes you think of your own mortality," Charbonneau said.
Early reports of police having two female suspects in custody were bogus.
Police have not released the identities of the suspect and the victim.
