Teddy Mitchell, a professional poker player and husband of murdered mom Julie Mitchell, is scheduled to appear in federal court Thursday for a "conflict of interest" hearing.
Mitchell pleaded not guilty in September to dozens of illegal gambling charges. An 81-count indictment accused him and nine other defendants, including a Costa Rican corporation, of running an illegal gambling ring.
Mitchell's hearing is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Thursday.
Mitchell's wife Julie was murdered in the couple's home in November 2010. Her murder remains unsolved.
