Enid police arrested Thursday a 20-year-old man investigators say attempted to meet who he thought was an underage girl for sex.
The arrest was the result of an undercover investigation. Enid police say Thursday morning, Nicholas Todd Mingus began an online conversation with someone he thought was a 14-year-old girl. Police say the conversation was sexual and explicit.
After following the conversation, police arrested Mingus at a home in the 900 block of Harvest Drive. He was booked into the Garfield County Detention Facility for soliciting sexual conduct or communicating with a minor by use of technology.
