An annual fall festival is underway in Edmond to benefit adults with special needs.
WINGS, a special needs community, hosts the festival, which offers a pumpkin patch, hay rides, and other activities for families.
All the proceeds from the festival will go to help the programs at WINGS, located at 13700 N. Eastern Avenue in Edmond.
Through the programs, participants build character and social skills through job training, post-high school education and art.
"It gives them a purpose every day, when they get to come and be with their friends and have something very valuable to do. They're busy. They do character training at WINGS and it's something important for them to do," said Shouna Olson, whose son participates in WINGS.
The fall festival is open daily to the public and runs through October 31.
