Child Shot, Suspect Sought In Shooting At NW OKC Apartment Complex

Oklahoma City Police are searching for a suspect who shot a 12 year old in the foot at an apartment complex Wednesday night.

Someone fired multiple gunshots into an apartment at 7809 Lyrewood Lane, which is near Wilshire and Rockwell.

A 12 year old was hit by one of the bullets and transported to a local hospital. He was shot in the foot and the injury is not life threatening.

A neighbor tells News 9 there was a fight between some adults, someone pulled out a gun and the 12 year old was accidentally shot. Police have not confirmed that story.

Police have not released any information about the suspect.
