Police said Orlando Joshawn Smith was killed Sunday afternoon in a shooting near N.W. 78th Street and Rockwell in northwest Oklahoma City.

Police Release Identity Of Victim In Northwest OKC Shooting

Oklahoma City police release the identity of the man killed in a possible gang-related shooting.

Police said they found 21-year-old Orlando Joshawn Smith in a parking lot at the Putnam Green Apartment complex located in the 7400 block of Knight Lake Drive just before 4:30 p.m. Sunday, October 14. An ambulance transported him to Presbyterian hospital, where he died.

According to police, several people in the area when the victim was shot. Witnesses told investigators the victim actually walked a short distance and then collapsed.
